Carlton Gore Solar Power

Project Type

Commercial Solar Power Panel Installation

Location

Newmarket, Auckland

Here at CGI Electrical Maintenance, we value innovation and environmentally friendly electric systems so we jumped at the chance to work on a solar power project brought to us by Mansons TCLM.

The 80-kilowatt solar system was for their new commercial building on Carlton Gore Road in Newmarket. This was our first solar power project of this size, so we collaborated with a reputable renewable energy consultant who assisted us in designing and pricing this project. We also worked closely with our suppliers to ensure that the specialist equipment was available, installed, and applied per the manufacturer's specifications.

Challenges
The extreme and unreliable conditions of the Auckland weather presented unusual challenges during the project's timeline. To counteract these adversities, we deployed a significant amount of labour when weather conditions permitted.

Timeline
Through meticulous planning and resource allocation, we managed to complete the project ahead of schedule, despite the weather-related setbacks.

Budget
We successfully accomplished this project within the budget, demonstrating our commitment to cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or performance.

Innovation
The experience gained from this project was immense for our project leaders, support team, suppliers, and our client. Everyone involved in the project gained invaluable insights and knowledge that will inform and enhance our future endeavours. Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate undertaking more challenging projects like this one, as they contribute to more sustainable and environmentally conscious energy usage for our clients. By continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and embracing renewable energy solutions, we strive to make a positive impact in the realm of sustainable electrical systems.
