A regular client of ours, Watts and Hughes Construction, approached us to tender this job for a developer they work with – Green Homes. The project involved the removal of an existing home from the site and the construction of a new high-specification home, with two more to follow in the future. Our team's commitment to exceptional attention to detail ensured that the custom design and fittings of this high-spec home were delivered to an impeccable standard.


Services
We were responsible for a range of tasks, including disconnecting the existing home, upgrading the electrical power supply for the section, thrusting all necessary services (electrical, plumbing, and fiber), as well as supplying and installing electrical services for the new home.

Challenges
One of the most significant challenges on the project was the thrusting of an 80-meter long driveway. Despite the substantial distance, we executed this task efficiently and met the agreed-upon deadline. Another challenge was coordinating with the multiple parties involved in the lighting supply. Given the various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and obtaining all the necessary details proved to be an immense undertaking. However, through proactive and regular contact with all involved parties, we managed to overcome this challenge and ensure they were well-informed throughout the process.

Budget & Timeline
The project was completed within the quoted budget and met the designated timeline. The successful delivery of this project resulted in CGI Electrical Maintenance being awarded the contracts, also from Green Homes, for the additional two homes on the same site.
